Students recognized as good citizens at Lawrence Association meeting

The Lawrence Association presented its annual Good Citizenship awards to seven students representing high schools in the Five Towns at its June 11 meeting at the Lawrence Yacht & Country Club in Lawrence.

Yishai Attias from Davis Renov Stahler High School for Boys in Woodmere, Rachel Bodek from Stella K. Abraham School for Girls in Hewlett Bay Park, Shimshon Brecher from Mesivta Ateres Yaakov – The Ruth & Hyman Simon High School, Jake Fuchs from Rambam Mesivita, both in Lawrence; Jadyn Harari from the Hebrew Academy of the Five Towns and Rockaway High School, Bhawan Kaur Sandhu from Lawrence High School and Ilana Spector from Shulamith High School for Girls, all in Cedarhurst, were honored for their civic-minded efforts in their respective school communities.
