The Brandeis School's welcome back celebration might not had the all together crowd it usually attracts, but there was no shortage of magic as Woodmere native Eric Wilzig, a magician, wowed the audience who arrived and departed in shifts to comply with social distancing guidelines during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Children were able to use a tie dye station and created tiles for a new mural installation at the school. There was also treats at the Sept. 13 event for the Lawrence school.
Organized by the Parents Association, co-Presidents Esther DeMarco and Elana Lederman, said that they “could not think of a better way to kick off the school year — new and old friends getting together and having a fun afternoon!”
