Brandeis middle school students received ice cream and ices as part of their Tefillah (prayer) challenge.

At the Brandeis School in Lawrence, fourth-graders explored density using oil, water and pancake syrup. The students made predictions and went on to explore buoyancy, and what will float?
Seventh-graders were able to visualize the difference in composition of elements, compounds and mixtures through a hands-on activity. The manipulatives they used were plates, gumdrops and toothpicks.
