Book due dates extended, no fines, says Bayville Library

Posted

The Bayville Library closed on March 21 complying with Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s directive that all non-essential businesses be shuttered. There is a book deposit carrier outside the building but the library has asked that it not be utilized until the library reopens.

The due dates for all library materials has been extended and no fines will be issued. Any library cards about to expire will automatically be extended.

It is possible to enjoy the many offerings at the library. By using a library card residents can access dozens of free online resources 24/7, including e-books, e-magazines, e-audiobooks, data bases and more.

Those who do not have a library card can sign up for a digital ecard at www.nassaulibrary.org/digital-card-application.

Stay in touch with the Bayville Library on Facebook at Bayville Free Library and on Instagram at bayville_free_library. Residents who are not receiving library emails should email their first and last name to bflprograms@optimum.net to be added to the list.
