Fog/Mist Another snowstorm hits Oceanside, Island Park

Snow fell in Island Park on Thursday morning, covering the streets.

For the third time in as many weeks, snow hit Oceanside and Island Park, with 4 to 5 inches of snow falling Thursday morning.
The National Weather Service projected that another inch could fall between Thursday night and Friday, but the snow had turned to light rain as of Thursday evening.
Department of Public Works employees were out plowing the streets, as local schools remained close amid winter recess.
