Temple Emanu-El displays renovated Sanctuary

It is the Temple Emanu-El of Long Beach members of the Reform synagogue have known for decades, but the interior design is entirely new and was ready for the beginning of the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah. The Sanctuary has been refurbished, giving it a fresher and warmer look, in the news of many.

The temple held a ribbon-cutting on Sept. 23 to display the changes. Members of the Long Beach City Council Chamber of Commerce and Long Beach Police Department were on hand for the ceremony. County Executive Bruce Blakeman’s office also sent a Citation in recognition of the Temple’s ongoing dedication to inclusion and public service.
