Two arrested in Oceanside on alleged gun, stolen credit card charges

Two people were arrested by Nassau County police on Tuesday after a loaded gun was found in their car following a routine traffic stop at 5 p.m.

According to the Nassau County Police Department, officers pulled over a black 2010 Audi A4 on Long Beach Road and West Waukena Avenue. After interviewing the driver, Victoria Cobb, 22, of Long Beach, and her passenger, Tyrelle Gordon, 25, of Far Rockaway, Queens, police found that Gordon had a loaded handgun with the serial number removed. A subsequent investigation revealed that Gordon was also in possession of marijuana.

Police also determined that Cobb was driving with a suspended license and was also found to be possession of a stolen credit cards.

 Gordon was charged with second-and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon for the loaded firearm, criminal possession of a firearm and second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Cobb was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and multiple traffic infractions.
