Challenger Nicole Henderson was elected with 381 votes. She ran against incumbent Danielle Hopkins, who received 324. Challenger Kathleen Nolan-Kasal was elected with 362 votes. She ran against challenger Joyce Berry, who received 332.

Malverne capital reserve propositions

A proposition to establish a capital reserve fund for Malverne High School varsity baseball’s field upgrade and district-wide site improvements passed by a vote of 576-182. Another proposition for change the election of Board of Education members from “designated” to “at large” passed by a vote of 508-232.
