A Chaplain at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, in Far Rockaway was arrested for multiple sexual encounters that occurred between Jan 15 and August 15 in Nassau County, Nassau County Police said.
Reginald Chery, 46, of 8612 Avenue M in Brooklyn is a Minister at the South Bronx Seven Day Adventist Church at 1418 Crotona Ave.
On May 21, police arrested Chery at his home. He was charged with course of sexual misconduct against a child in the first degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
He was arraigned on May 21 at First District Court in Hempstead.
