Shop, drop and go in Cedarhurst for JCC SHOP

Posted

Food insecurity remains a problem for many during the coronavirus pandemic. To help the Marion & Aaron Gural JCC's Rina Shkolnick Kosher Food Pantry stock needed items a communitywide food drive is being held on Tuesday and Thursday.

Shop for the needed items ranging from breakfast cereals to soups and chili and drop off at Maple Plaza in Cedarhurst at the Willow Avenue entrance between Maple and Cedarhurst avenues on Oct. 27 from noon to 2 p.m. and Oct. 29 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.

Tuesday's collection is sponsored by the Irving Place Minyan in Woodmere and Thursday's collection is sponsored by Congregation Beth Sholom in Lawrence.

For more information call the Gural JCC's Sustenance Hope Opportunities Place at (516) 234-6020.
