Arrest

A 56-year-old Inwood man was arrested on April 1 at 6 a.m. and charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance after a narcotic sales investigation.

Larceny

On March 29 at 5:51 p.m., a Greystone Road resident reported that a package was stolen from his doorstep.

At 8:17 a.m. on April 1, the manager of a Merrick Road business notified police that someone stole three catalytic converters from vehicles parked in his parking lot.

A Banks Avenue resident reported that someone stole a package from the lobby of his apartment building on April 1 at 8:15 p.m.

Criminal mischief

On April 1 at 1:33 p.m., a Maple Avenue resident notified police that someone damaged the doors on her vehicle while it was parked on her street.

Leaving the scene

At 7:01 a.m. on April 3, a motorist reported that her car was struck by a vehicle that left the scene while it was parked in a Maine Avenue parking lot.

Harassment

A Kennedy Avenue resident notified police that she received threatening messages via social media on April 2 at 4:21 p.m.

Unusual incident

On April 2 at 12:46 p.m., a Demott Avenue resident reported that someone opened a credit card account using his personal information.
