The Rockville Centre Lions Club is sponsoring its 15th annual food drive on Nov. 13, using the motto, “we serve.”
This year’s event will feature a drive up and drop off option. Suggested donations include a $10 gift card toward the purchase of a turkey or canned items, including cranberry sauce, vegetables, yams or turkey gravy (could be jarred). Baskets will be delivered to more than 80 local families.
The collection is at the Rockville Centre Recreation Center, 111 N. Ocean Road, Rockville Centre. Donations will be collected on Nov. 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the rain date is Nov. 14 at the same time. Other donations can be dropped at the recreation center during normal business hours.
