United Church of Rockville Centre Pastor Scott Ressman blessed cats, dogs and even stuffed animals on Oct. 3.
Each animal received treats and a certificate of blessing, and Ressman was able to conduct some blessings long distance over the phone.
Parishioners are welcome to attend the church’s weekly worship each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. The church is at 430 Morris Ave., in Rockville Centre.
