Fire burns in Glen Head, rages throughout the night

As Long Island faces drought conditions, a large brush fire started in Glen Head by Pheasant Hill Road and Cedar Swamp Road. The Glenwood Fire Company, the Sea Cliff Fire Department, East Norwich Fire Company No. 1, and the Glen Cove Fire Department battled the fire from roughly 7:30 p.m. throughout the night.

The fire did not destroy any structures and there have not been any reported injuries. This is a developing story and will be updated.
