Children's music performer Keri Wirth, of East Meadow, is spending the pandemic spreading cheer through her virtual program, "Me & You Music.”

Wirth is also working on several interactive initiatives that are set to be presented on her various social media channels in the coming weeks.

"As a parent of two young kids, I find music to be a great tool in comforting us both and communicating in a positive way," Wirth said, "Music is a powerful facilitator for communication and learning, and I'm excited to share my curriculum with other parents that are eager to explore music with their children, as well".

"Me and You Music" is based around Wirth’s original songs and seeks to calm and inspire both children and parents. It has been featured in venues across Long Island, written about in Newsday and seen on television shows like Live it Up with Donna Drake on CBS.

"It has been a pleasure changing my own perspective of the world through my daughter's eyes,” Wirth said. “I found a way to stop time and laugh at myself as a parent while taking a moment to enjoy her too.”

Wirth will be having Zoom classes twice a week for the next six weeks. To sign up, contact keriwirthmusic@gmail.com.
