Thursday, Nov. 9, Kristallnacht Commemoration

Honor the 85th anniversary of Kristallnacht or "Night of Broken Glass,” at Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County, Thursday, Nov. 9, 5:30-6:30 p.m. Commemorate those whose lives were lost or forever changed by the events of Nov. 9, 1938, with a brief candlelit service in honor of survivors and victims of one of humanity's darkest periods in history. 100 Crescent Beach Road, Glen Cove. The Friends of the Gold Coast Library seeks enthusiastic volunteers who can lend their graphic design, marketing, social media, and fundraising talents. As a non-profit organization, Friends fully aligns with the library's mission to enrich our community with recreational and cultural experiences and lifelong learning opportunities.
