Snow drifted down from the sky for the third time this month on Feb. 18, albeit with less severity than the nor’easter of Feb. 1 or the snowstorm on Super Bowl Sunday. While residents may have awakened to clear the snow off their cars, their children did not have to anticipate their schools closing because all North Shore Central School District students are on winter break. This gave children an ideal opportunity to enjoy yet another snow day, which may be the last of the winter as spring approaches.
