Seaford 9/11 Memorial Committee to Host Annual Dinner

The Seaford 9/11 Memorial Committee will be honoring five Patriot Award candidates from Seaford High School at a special dinner.

The event will be held on June 28 at 6 p.m. at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury. The aforementioned five Seaford High School seniors will be honored, as well as Honorary Award Recipients Scott A. Bersin, Sean A. Rhatigan, and John A. Striffolino. 

The Seaford 9/11 Memorial Committee has given this award out since 2002 to students who "exhibit the character, commitment, and responsibility reflected in the lives and spirit of the five Seaford High School alumni who were lost on September 11, 2001". Those alumni are Tommy Haskell ('82). Timmy Haskell ('85), John Perry ('82), Rob Sliwak ('77), and Michael Wittenstein ('85).

The proceeds of this dinner support the continuation of both these awards and the Seaford 9/11 Memorial.  Information can be found on the Committee's website, linked above.
