The Seaford Lions Club recently sponsored the annual Lions International Peace Poster Contest, encouraging young artists ages 11 to 13 to creatively depict their vision of "Peace Without Limits." This year, winners were chosen from Seaford Middle School and St. William the Abbot School.
At Seaford Middle School, Samantha Juan won first place, followed by Yaslin Cordero in second and Micah Hickey in third. St. William the Abbot winners included Benjamin Jaigobin in first, Sara Castellani in second, and Gianna Scavo in third. First-place winners will advance to additional judging levels, with a chance at the international prize of $5,000.
