Electric Rooster will perform at Lilah's Bar and Grill on Feb. 1 at 6 p.m., for a night of music, dancing and an open jam session.
The band has been together for nearly two years, after the members met at a local blues jam in the area. The lead guitarist of Electric Rooster, Lloyd Chrein, lives in Lynbrook and serves on the Chamber of Commerce.
“There’s a big network of musicians here on Long Island,” he said. “It’s a lot of fun.”
He said the band will play its set, and then invite guests to play with the band after.
