In honor of Black History Month, Herald Inside LI will host a webinar featuring Black leaders on Long Island on February, 25 at 9:30 a.m. 

Speakers will include Phil Andrews, the president of Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, inc., Regina Armstrong, superintendent of Hempstead Union Free School District, Frederick Brewington, the owner, principal and civil rights lawyer and community activist of Law Offices of Frederick K. Brewington, Margo Cargill, the CEO of Titanium Linx Consulting Inc. and the VP of Nassau Council of Chamber of Commerce and Daniel Lloyd, the founder and president of Minority Millennials Inc. 

The speakers will provide insight to Long Islanders in the Zoom discussion by talking about updates on their industries, and information about how today’s culture and workplaces differ from previous years. They will also discuss how communities have adapted in light of social justice and racial equity issues, as well as, provide insight on how leaders can best harness their influence to have a better impact on Long Island.
