Light Rain J-Team Information Session
The JCC Maccabi Games is an international athletic competition for Jewish teenagers 13-16 run much like the Olympics. Long Island Jewish teens are invited to be a part of the continental delegation called "The J-Team" that is for Jewish athletes from various locations in the U.S. and Canada who either don't live near a participating JCC or belong/are close to a JCC that is not sending a delegation to the games.
On Monday, November 18 at 6:30 pm, Sam Lefkowitz, will be holding an information session at Temple Israel of Lawrence, 140 Central Avenue, Lawrence to go over the JCC Maccabi Campus Games. Sam is the J-Team Delegation Head as well as the Games Director for the JCC Maccabi Campus Games, August 7-14, 2020, at Pace University in Westchester, N.Y.
