Up to 5 inches of snow fell across Long Island Saturday night into Sunday morning.
The National Weather Service describes it as heavy wet snow and caution should be taken when shoveling.
Roads and especially bridges and overpasses becoming slick and creating hazardous and slippery road conditions.
Temperatures on Sunday will range to the upper 30s with some sun.
