The staff and administration at Freeport’s Woodward Children’s Center expressed their gratitude to those at the front-lines of the coronavirus pandemic during their Thank You Day event on June 11.
The group of well wishers visited the Freeport Post Office, Nassau County Police Department’s First Precinct, Gala Supermarket and Good Samaritan Hospital to cheer for them and present posters and cards thanking the organizations for their work in supporting the local communities.
The WCC members also thanked local UPS and FedEx delivery workers.
