West Hempstead Lions Club cleans up Hall’s Pond Park

The West Hempstead Lions Club held a clean up at Hall’s Pond Park on June 27. Volunteers in the community joined with Lions Club members to collect 15 bags of garbage, a chair, masks, gloves, baby wipes and a shovel.

In addition, the Lions Club presented a $500 scholarship to West Hempstead resident Krista Baumann.
