On June 26, congregants, members of the community, and elected officials attended the thirteenth annual Journal Celebration at Congregation Beth Tikvah in Wantagh. The celebration honors members of Congregation Beth Tikvah every year. This was the first celebration hosted in two years – the event was cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic.
Guests enjoyed dinner, music, and dancing. Each honoree was selected for over 30 years of dedication and service to Congregation Beth Tikvah. The honorees were Sherry Cohen, Lorrane and Stanley Levin, Frances Rosenberg, and Benjamin Schnapper.
Nassau County Legislator Steve Rhoads and State Senator John Brooks were also in attendance.
