Former West Hempstead basketball Star Mike Cingiser passed away at 84 in December. Cingiser led the Rams to the 1957 Nassau title, and was named championship MVP as a junior. Cingiser went on to play at Brown University, before coaching at Lynbrook High School, Hofstra and Brown University.
