A Uniondale man is facing multiple weapons charges after Nassau County police say they found a loaded .45 caliber pistol in his car last week.

Police said 44-year-old Warren Samuels of Fenmore Avenue was pulled over March 8 at 1:22 a.m. on Cherry Valley Avenue in West Hempstead when officers watched a 2015 Cadillac Escalade with tinted windows driving erratically. When police searched the vehicle, they found a loaded Smith & Wesson .45 caliber handgun and what is thought to be crack-cocaine in the Escalade.

Samuels faces several weapons and drug charges in addition to multiple driving infractions, police said. He was scheduled to appear in First District Court March 9.
