Flags stand tall at Hall’s Pond Park in West Hempstead

The West Hempstead Community Support Association usually places American flags throughout the Hall’s Pond Park in time for the community’s annual Memorial Day parade. However, this year’s parade was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Volunteers gathered at the park last month to fill the park with flags, continuing their tradition. From the gazebo to the greeting sign, the entire park is now decorated with American flags.
