Helping servers that rely on tips in Malverne

With the hopes of aiding servers in Malverne, the Malverne Chamber of Commerce urges residents to purchase a $5 tote bag. All proceeds will go towards servers in the village, and tote bags will be available when residents pick up their to-go orders at local eateries in the village.

“While the Chamber doesn’t pretend we can make up a lost paycheck, we are hoping to help monetarily in some small way for the people who have served us for years on a daily basis in our Malverne businesses,” the Malverne Chamber said in a Facebook post.

Tote bags are available to purchase at Connolly Station, Pomodorino, Angelo’s Pizza, Malverne Diner, Antonio’s Deli, Village Juice Garden and Our Town Grille.
