The ReStyle team from Hewlett High School — Aiden Blumenstein, Anna Bromfeld, Theo Franks, Andrew Gelman, Brandon Lake and Aaron Mindell — on Jan. 9 advanced to the championship round of the Long Island Trade Fair and Business Plan Competition.

ReStyle is a virtual company that sells sneakers and accessories made from 100 percent recycled plastic bottles. The mission is to help the environment, “one stylish step at a time,” the team stated. Restyle scored in the Top 10, out of more than100 firms, for the written business plan and oral presentation.

They will compete on March 10 at American Portfolios in Holbrook for the chance to earn a berth in the national competition on April 22 at the Microsoft building in New York City.
