Residents enjoyed a hot, hearty breakfast during West Hempstead Kiwanis Club’s annual pancake breakfast at West Hempstead High School last Sunday. Residents enjoyed pancakes, waffles, sausages, scrambled eggs and more at the breakfast.
The Kiwanis Club also honored Connor Kurtz, Daniel Guillen and Aden Palmer as the winners of their Peace Poster contest. The club meets on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at Pompei Restaurant, 401 Hempstead Ave., West Hempstead, at 7 p.m.
