The Island Park Theatre Group, in conjunction with the Island Park Union Free School Recreation Department, presented “On Broadway - A Musical Revue” last weekend.

The cast included many local actors, including community theater veterans as well as first-timers. Tickets sales broke records for IPTG, according to Director Renee Socci.

The production’s Assistant Director was Barbra Rubin-Perry, who is also the president of the Island Park Chamber of Commerce; Oceanside resident Sal Canepa choreographed the show.

“On Broadway” was produced by John Cestaro, with Frank Cestaro as the assistant producer. Marcus Quiroga was the stage manager; Anthony DiPaola took care of sound; and Geoff Leighton did the lighting. Debby Wilson was the on-the-spot “prop lady,” and Hillary Kass Nussdorf acted as production and costume coordinator.
