West Hempstead Lions Club holds installation dinner

The West Hempstead Lions Club held their installation dinner on July 8 at the Lantern Diner in West Hempstead. Club members took the opportunity to dine outside while practicing social distancing.

Past Lions Club International President Al Brandel presented the outgoing Club President Frank Parise with a plaque that commemorated his service. The new club President, Steven Oster, follows in the footsteps of his parents, Theresa and Steve, both of whom were former club presidents.

District Governor Theresa Oster swore in the new club officers that included Club President Steve Oster; First Vice President Antonella Verdorosa; Second Vice President and Treasurer Susan Reichert; Secretary Mia Murphy; Lion Tamer Joseph Murphy; Tail Twister Ruth Ann Parise, and Mark Reichert, head of social media.
