Crash on Grand Avenue

A car struck a tree last Sunday morning while traveling south on Grand Avenue, injuring all four people inside, who were taken to hospitals. According to Baldwin Fire Department Chief Craig Yanantuono, a call came in around 6:45 a.m., prompting the department and the Nassau County Emergency Services Unit to respond to the scene, just north of Demott Avenue. One passenger was trapped inside, and could not be freed until first responders cut off the front passenger’s door.
