Baldwin Lions Club returns with first fundraiser of the year

The Baldwin Lions Club, a longstanding pillar of community service, reaffirmed its commitment to meeting the needs of Baldwin with its triumphant return on March 2nd with its inaugural fundraiser of the year at the Baldwin Coach Diner.

Dubbed “Burgers and Basket,” the event treated attendees to burgers, fries, and drinks, all for $20. Guests had the opportunity to bid on an assortment of captivating baskets, items ranging from garden supplies to car care essentials.

At the helm after its hiatus is Naresh Singh, president of the Baldwin Lions Club, who remains steadfast in his dedication to upholding the club’s esteemed legacy of service and fostering a sense of community engagement.

Founded in 1917, the Lions Club stands as the largest humanitarian service organization globally, boasting a staggering membership of over 1.4 million individuals. As the Baldwin Lions Club springs back into action, it continues to embody the enduring spirit of service that has defined its mission for over a century.
