Trio of ribbon cuttings brings new business to Baldwin

May 18 was a banner day for businesses in Baldwin as a trio of new enterprises opened their doors. The new arrivals were Byoutique, a fashion emporium, Maria Cristina Beauty Salon and Beers Design, which will specialize in kitchen and bath cabinetry.

In attendance at the slate of openings were Erik Mahler and Debbie Pugliese of the chamber of commerce, Councilman Anthony Santino, Bruno Romano from Assemblyman Brian Curran’s office, Nancy Barreno from Legislator Joe Scanell’s office, Chris Brown from the County Executive’s office and David Viana and Karen Montalbano from the civic association.
