Nassau County Police are searching for a man they say assaulted an unidentified woman at a Bellmore home.

Crime Stoppers announced on Tuesday that police are seeking the public’s help in locating James Doyle, whose age and hometown were not identified. Officials said he is wanted in connection with an assault at a house on St. Mark’s Avenue earlier this year.

At about 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, Doyle allegedly assaulted a woman in the Bellmore home after the two had an argument, according to officials. The unnamed victim sustained a broken nose and an ankle injury, police said. They added that Doyle also intentionally damaged the woman’s cell phone before fleeing in an unknown direction.

Crime Stoppers is asking anyone who knows the whereabouts of Doyle, or anyone with any information about this case, to call (800) 244 -8477. Callers may remain anonymous.
