American Legion offering Phil Williams Memorial Scholarship

Merrick American Legion Post 1282 will award a $1,000 Philip L. Williams Memorial Scholarship to a deserving high school senior who best exemplifies Williams’s qualities and core values, including patriotism, family, community and a strong work ethic. Williams died last year of cancer.

Donations to this scholarship fund can be made out to "American Legion Post 1282," earmarked for the "Philip L. Williams Memorial Scholarship Fund," and sent to:
