Bellmore F.D. to honor 9/11 victims

The Bellmore Fire Department will hold a memorial ceremony this Sunday to honor the victims who died in the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

The service will begin with a Mass at St. Barnabas Roman Catholic Church, at 2320 Bedford Ave., Bellmore, at 5 p.m. A wreath-laying ceremony will follow at Bellmore Fire Department headquarters, at 2450 Newbridge Road, at 6:30 p.m.
