Children from throughout the Bellmores gathered over the weekend for the annual Knights of Columbus Free-Throw Championship at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School gymnasium.
Boys and girls ages 10 to 14 competed in the contest to demonstrate their basketball skills. Each contestant received three warm-up tosses, followed by 15 consecutive free-throw attempts.
Fun was had by all, and each participant received a certificate.
