Bellmore’s Memorial Day celebration at the Veterans Memorial Park was cut short by the weather, and a North Bellmore parade was cancelled. However, the weather on Monday didn’t keep many, including Boy Scouts, VFW and American Legion members, local firefighters, the Ladies Auxiliary and more from remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country.
