Two Hicksville residents have been arrested for allegedly entering a Bellmore garage over the weekend and assaulting two teens who were inside playing video games.

According to Nassau County police, Lauren Morales, 28, and Nicholas Laurenti, 20, entered a Lakeview Road home’s garage and began to punch, kick and hit the two teens in the face and on the body with an aluminum bat.

Police said Morales and Laurenti were accompanied by two additional white male suspects who have not yet been apprehended.

After a brief time, the four suspects fled the home in an unknown direction, police said. The teenage victims suffered contusions to their faces and pain in their legs, but refused medical attention at the scene.

Police arrested Morales on Monday in Baldwin. Laurenti surrendered the same day in Seaford.

Both are charged with first-degree burglary and second-degree assault. They were arraigned on Monday at Hempstead First District Court.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding the two accomplices to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS or the Seventh Squad at 516-573-6752. All callers will remain anonymous.
