Bellmores prepare for Memorial Day

Veterans, scouts, marching bands and Little Leaguers are set to take part in the Bellmores’ annual Memorial Day parade, which is scheduled to kick off on Monday, May 30, at 9 a.m. The parade will begin at the veterans monument at Newbridge Road Elementary School in North Bellmore and proceed south to the veterans monument in Bellmore Village. At left, veterans marched proudly during the Bellmores’ Memorial Day parade in 2010.
