Hippity hoppity up Bedford Ave. for Bellmore chamber parade

Bellmore residents showed up for the parade prepared for some rain.

Showers couldn’t keep the Easter Bunny away from the Bellmores this past Saturday when the annual Chamber of Commerce Easter parade stepped off from the firehouse on Pettit Avenue and made its way through Bellmore Village.
This beloved tradition gave children the chance to show off their Easter bonnets and best outfits. Children received filled Easter eggs from the chamber as well as coupons for free ice cream cones, compliments of International Delight Café and Hershey’s of Bellmore, and a coupon for free cupcakes, compliments of Got Cupcakes? After the parade, children got a chance to meet the Easter Bunny and pose for a few photos.
