KIds and parents alike had a blast at the Bellmore Chamber of Commerce's annual Easter Parade.

With cold air and high winds, it felt more like winter than spring in Bellmore on the weekend of April 16 to 17, but that didn’t stop the Easter Bunny from making his annual visit to the community.

On Saturday, children and parents donned their best Easter bonnets and bunny ears and marched from the Bellmore firehouse on Pettit Avenue through the downtown. The parade, sponsored by the Bellmore Chamber of Commerce, didn’t fail to disappoint. Children were treated to early Easter treats, gathering plastic eggs filled with candy and a certificate for an ice cream cone from International Delight Café and a cupcake from Got Cupcakes? on Bedford Avenue. Children and parents also hopped into Bellmore Village, where they were able to take a picture with the Easter Bunny.
