New York State Police have arrested and charged a North Bellmore woman with fatally stabbing her ex-husband in their home and then dumping his body along the Wantagh State Parkway.
Authorities would not say why Nancy Boland, 56, allegedly killed her ex-husband, Walter Boland, 58, only that a “domestic incident” led to the killing. Nancy Boland was charged with first-degree manslaughter, evidence tampering and criminal possession of a weapon.
The Bolands were divorced but living together on Waltoffer Avenue. Police say that Nancy Boland left her husband’s body along a bike path on the Wantagh Parkway around 4 a.m. on Thursday, after stabbing him on Wednesday evening. A jogger discovered the body four hours later.
Nancy Boland had two pending misdemeanor charges against her, and Walter Boland reportedly had a criminal record that included drug possession, possession of stolen property and drunken driving.
