Parts of Wantagh Parkway closed because of movie shoot

The northbound lanes of the Wantagh Parkway will be closed between Jones Beach and Merrick Road until 7 p.m. on Nov. 18. New York State Parks Deputy Regional Director George Gorman said to expect intermittent closures on the southbound side for no more than 10 minutes at a time. The parkway is facing closures because of a movie that is being filmed there.
