Virtuoso violinist to perform at Merrick Symphony concert

Deborah Song, a violinist from Westchester, will perform during the Merrick Symphony Chamber Orchestra's concert on Sunday, Oct. 23, at 2:30 p.m. at the Freeport Memorial Library. Song will be a featured soloist in "The Four Seasons" by Vivaldi. This year's recipient of the John Celantano Award for Excellence in Chamber Music, Song is currently studying at the Juilliard School of Music. This free concert is made possible in part by public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, administered by the Huntington Arts Council, and also by funds from the Kiwanis Club of Merrick, and friends and supporters of Merrick Symphony and the Freeport Public Library.
