Get set for a return of the British Invasion returns when rock legend Dave Mason visits the NYCB Theatre at Westbury, along with The Yardbirds, on Friday, Sept. 9, at 8 p.m.

Dave Mason – the English musician, singer, songwriter, and guitarist – has come along way since his days with the rock band Traffic. He has played and recorded with many of the rock era’s most notable musicians, including Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, George Harrison and Fleetwood Mac. Mason’s best known song, “Feelin’ Alright,” was recorded by Traffic in 1968. He also wrote the 1967 classic Traffic single release, “Hole In My Shoe.” His solo debut, Alone Together, featured “Only You Know and I Know,” “Shouldn’t Have Took More Than You Gave”, “Sad and Deep as You”, “World in Changes”, and “Look at You, Look at Me.” He still takes great pleasure in performing during a career that spans over 37 years.

Mason is joined by The Yardbirds, featuring original members drummer Jim McCarty and rhythm guitarist/bassist Chris Dreja, for this evening of classic rock ‘n’ roll. Relive their “blues” influenced music from which they created such rock hits as “For Your Love,” “Heart Full of Soul,” “I’m a Man,” and “Shapes of Things.”

Tickets are $59.50, $39.50 and $29.50; available at (800) 745-3000 or www.livenation.com, and at the Westbury box office.
